Common questions

Where is my response?

A qualified therapist records your video after reading everything you wrote. Most replies arrive within a few hours. Our standard target is eight working hours, Monday to Friday, so a Wobble sent late on a Friday may not be answered until Monday. You will get an email, and a text or a phone notification if you have turned those on, the moment it is ready. Your Wobble also appears under History when you sign in.

What does it cost?

You always see the price before you send anything. You can buy a single Wobble, or take a plan, which brings the price of each one down. There is no plan unless you choose one and you can cancel at any time from your account page. Current prices are shown on getwobble.co.uk.

How do I pay?

Payment is by card and is handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card number. If someone has given you a gift code, or you have a free Wobble from a referral or a partner, you can use that instead and nothing is charged.

How do I turn notifications on or off?

Sign in and open Account, then Notifications. You can switch email and text messages on or off there, and change the number we use. Phone notifications in the app are controlled in your phone settings, under Wobble.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Sign in, open Account and choose to delete your account, or email us and we will do it for you. We remove your personal details. We keep the clinical record of any Wobble a therapist answered, because we are required to, and it is explained in our privacy policy.

Who reads what I write?

Your Wobble is only ever seen by qualified, registered therapists who are contractually bound to keep it confidential, and by our clinical team where there is a safety concern. When you send it, it goes to the therapists who are free to pick it up, and whoever takes it records your response. Nothing you write is used to train or generate anything, and no part of your response is made by a computer.

Something in my response felt wrong

Tell us. Email support@getwobble.co.uk and say what happened, or use the “let us know confidentially” link on the feedback screen. A member of our clinical team reads every report of this kind, and we can review the response, arrange another one, or refund you.

If you need help right now

Wobble is not a crisis service and is not a substitute for urgent mental health care. If you are in immediate danger, call 999. If you need to talk to someone now, the Samaritans are on 116 123, free, at any time of day or night.
